Oui, pas mal .

The 50mm f1.4 DG HSM A is every bit as good as the earlier 35mm f1.4 model, in fact it's slightly better in outright sharpness and uniformity. A voir oui mais le rendu est différent qd même sur l otus ... Un rendu zeiss quoi avec une qualité superlative ..
Tiens j ai enfin testé le 35 1.4 sigma : super !

Oui , bref , ce qui était prévu dès le début , un chouïa moins bon à pleine ouverture (moins homogène)
peut-être moins "velouté" ... à vérifier suivant les boitiers/capteurs.
Pour le reste y'a pas photo ... (prix et ... autofocus ...  )

Pour les Canonistes , passez au Festival de l'oiseau , stand Sigma à Abbeville ... petit conseil d'ami !!!

Sigma est très fort dans ce domaine, ce n'est pas étonnant. Il ne manque plus que le bokeh devienne un peu plus magique sur les objectifs et ce sera tout bon

Les plus :

- fût élégant et de bonne qualité
- sensationnelle qualité d'image au centre
- très bonne qualité d'image dans les coins
- légère aberration chromatique longitudinale
- excellente correction de l'aberration chromatique latérale
- le plus bas niveau de distorsion dans cette catégorie de matériel
- bonne correction de l'aberration sphérique
- astigmatisme modéré
- autofocus silencieux et rapide dans la plupart des cas
- aspect agréable des zones floues
- riche panoplie d'accessoires
- excellent rapport qualité / prix.

Les moins :

- comportement en contre-jour à ouverture réduite
- des problèmes d'autofocus avec le Canon 1 Ds MkIII,
- le niveau de coma dans les coins du format 24x36 aurait pu être inférieur.

Leur conclusion :

"The list of advantages of the tested Sigma is really impressive; add to it the fact that it can compete on equal terms with the Zeiss Otus, a device four times as expensive, and in some categories (e.g. sharpness on the frame edge, lateral chromatic aberration, distortion or vignetting) it even prevails over it. Those arguments are so strong that we didn't have any qualms about giving the Sigma our "Editors Choice Award" badge, even though it had a slight coma slip-up during our test and its autofocus performance on the EOS 1 Ds MkIII was patchy."

C'est un problème logiciel lié à Sigma et à leur rétro-ingénierie pour éviter de payer des licences : LensTip écrit que la mise au point automatique est parfaite avec le 50D et le 5D Mk III mais qu'elle laisse beaucoup à désirer avec le 1Ds Mk III :

"When the lens was attached to the Canon 50D and the 5D MkIII the whole set was pretty much predictable, with the number of misses reaching 6-7% which is good but also only a good result. The cooperation with the 1Ds MkIII was strange for a turn. The lens, even if positioned in a stable way in the same place before the testing chart, could oscillate for a short spells, jumping between two close focus positions several times; then it chose one of them but in a rather random way. More often than not the chosen position was correct but there were a lot of misses as well. The fact that the lens had also a pronounced front focus tendency didn't help – once again you could observe it only when it was attached to the 1 Ds MkIII. While cooperating with the 50D and 5D MkIII the Sigma didn't have such problems."

merci d'avoir rectifié car effectivement c'est un soucis de licences non payé a canon et en aucun cas du a un soucis d'af du 1D3

"I have been thoroughly impressed by this new Sigma 50mm F/1.4 DG HSM Art lens. In my testing, I found that I preferred it over the Canon 50mm f/1.2 as well as my old Sigma 50mm F/1.4. The weight, which I have heard a lot of noise about, was a non issue.

Seriously, if you shoot with a 70-200mm at all, this lens will feel like nothing to you. The weight has been made a much bigger deal than it is. The length on the other hand, is something I can see some people legitimately being concerned about. Again though, in my case, I actually preferred the length. It balanced well with my Canon 6D and felt good in my hands. That is all I can ask for from a lens.

Based on all of my testing, and my experience with the lens over the last 5 days, I am very happy to give this new Sigma 50mm F/1.4 DG HSM Art lens a full 5 out of 5 stars. It offers superior image quality to any other 50mm lens, expect maybe the Zeiss Otus (but even then, the Sigma is close). The only turnoff to some may be the price, but look at it this way, it's saving you ~$500 off the price of a Canon F/1.2, and you get better performance."
