Toutefois, la réponse d'Elpabar me laissait entendre autre chose.

Essai très élogieux de l'Olympus M.Zuiko Digital 17 mm f/1,2 Pro sur Olympus OM-D E-M1 Mark II par Mark Goldstein pour PhotographyBLOG :

Olympus M.ZUIKO Digital ED 17mm f/1.2 PRO Review | PhotographyBLOG (5 pages)

Citation de: Mark Goldstein pour PhotographyBLOGThe Olympus M.Zuiko Digital ED 17mm f/1.2 PRO delivers simply outstanding image quality. It's pin-sharp even when shooting wide-open at f/1.2, both in the centre and at the edges of the frame, something that we rarely get to say about any lens. Bokeh is beautifully rendered thanks to the 9 circular aperture blades, with the so-called "feathered bokeh" when shooting wide-open at f/1.2 delivering a subtle yet addictive look, whilst vignetting, distortion and chromatic aberrations are all very well controlled. Overall, there's absolutely nothing to complain about in terms of the image quality.

The same praise can also be applied to the Olympus M.Zuiko Digital ED 17mm f/1.2 PRO's build quality. At 390g, it doesn't weigh too much for such a fast lens, and it's very similar in size and weight to the other PRO lenses that we've reviewed, feeling perfectly at home on the OM-D E-M1 Mark II body that we used for this review. Focusing is reliably quick and accurate, while manual focusing is made very easy by the snap focusing ring and smooth, damped mechanism.

If you can afford the pro-level pricetag of £1199 / $1199, then you certainly get a pro-level lens in return. This is our favourite M.Zuiko F1.2 PRO prime lens so far, thanks to the outstanding sharpness and superb bokeh when shooting wide-open.

Citation de: Robin Wong pour Ming Thein | PhotographerThe Olympus M.Zuiko 17mm F1.2 PRO changed my perspective of working with this focal length, especially considering I did not expect to fall in love with this lens.

The lens is incredibly sharp even when shooting wide open. The sharpness is uniform from edge to edge. The bokeh is beautiful and soft, resulting in pleasing and natural looking images. Technical flaws are well controlled with no noticeable distortion, minimal chromatic aberration and good flare control. AF is speedy and reliable. The lens just works and it exceeded my expectations.

Of the three F1.2 lenses, I am surprised to conclude that this 17mm F1.2 is my personal favourite.

Olympus M.Zuiko Digital ED 17 mm f/1.2 PRO review - LensTip.com

Points forts :

Points faibles :

- distorsion significative (fichiers RAW)

Citation de: Arkadiusz Olech et Maciej Latałło, LensTip.comAfter a slight misfire with the PRO 1.2/25 model, the price of which, compared to its possibilities, was definitely too high, the continuation of PRO f/1.2 lenses series can be called completely successful. Both models announced in 2017, the M. Zuiko PRO 1.2/17 and the 1.2/45, proved to be optically excellent and both were able to break resolution records. Perhaps they aren't completely free of any faults and you can't call them cheap either but the number of their assets and their performance are truly impressive. As a result, the Micro 4/3 system finally got fast fixed focal length lenses that are able to profit from the advantages connected to the size of the detector they are designed for.

Merci Mistral!

Olympus M.Zuiko 17mm f/1.2 PRO - Review / Test Report

Commentaire introductif de Klaus sur le forum : "A good lens but not quite as desirable as the 45mm f/1.2 PRO"

Qualité optique : 3,5/5
Qualité mécanique : 5/5
Rapport performances / prix : 3,5/5

Citation de: Klaus Schroiff, Optical LimitsThe Olympus M.Zuiko 17mm f/1.2 PRO may not be quite as stellar as the 45mm f/1.2 PRO but it doesn't mean that it's a dud. It's far from it. The resolution characteristic doesn't show any weaknesses but there is a drop between the center and border/corner quality. The center is very good to excellent at f/1.2 whereas the borders are more in the good to very good range. That's actually impressive at f/1.2 just to stress this. Stopping down boosts the center but the outer image field ... not so much. Lateral CAs are low though so this contributes to the high sharpness perception. Auto-correction takes care of image distortions which are clearly present in RAW files. The original vignetting is quite high at f/1.2 but, once again, auto-correction will come to the rescue here for most users anyway.

A real highlight (no pun intended) is the quality of the bokeh which is very smooth and that's especially impressive considering the wide-angle nature of the lens. That's for the technical bokeh at least. If you had a look at our sample images, you may, however, recognizes that the sheer ability to produce a shallow depth-of-field is rather limited. On the 45mm f/1.2 this isn't so much of an issue simply because of its relatively long focal length but the 17mm f/1.2 doesn't have this advantage. In terms of depth-of-field we are talking about a "34mm f/2.4" (in full format terms) here so keep that in mind.

The build quality of the Zuiko is excellent thanks to a tightly assembled all-metal and sealed construction. It's even freezeproof down to -10C which is something few other manufacturers can claim for their professional-grade lenses. Whether you like the focus-clutch mechanism for switching between AF and MF is a matter of taste. It is quite inevitable to shift the focus when doing the switch. However, the clutch does give you a mechanical focus coupling with a distance scale which is rare on mirrorless lenses. Most will still prefer to use the MSC autofocus and both its speed and accuracy are very high.

The Olympus M.Zuiko 17mm f/1.2 PRO is a pricey lens. If high speed and a great bokeh are your priorities, it is an obvious mainstream choice. As far as sharpness goes, there are more affordable options available that can give you just as much.
