Opinions on getting an extender for my camera

Hey all I am just after some opinions regarding the 1.4x and 2x lense extenders canon offers. My bird photography gear currently consists of a Canon 80d and Canon EF 100-400mm f/4.5-5.6L IS USM. The reason for wanting to buy this extender is because for the past 2 years been on a self driven task to see how many different speicies i can find in SEQ and I am having extreme difficulty getting somewhat decent pictures to identify espically shorebirds which are extremely hard to get close to. The issue i am currently having is because i am required to zoom in dramatically into picutres the photo of the bird itself is too blurry and therefore i am unable to identify them. This is why i am looking at buying a extender however i dont want to spend money on something that isn't worth it.

You have spent a total of 2 minutes here, and you wrote in english: this is not very smart. This is not a fair way to meet. On top of this, you wrote in PORTRAIT SECTION. Any english mother tongue guy might understands. I am reporting to the webmaster about this indelicacy (I am suspecting a spam ?).

We guess that you have already the answer (or after 2 years of fail test, you'd better to ask yourself another question!).

Spending 1 minute with a Google (or other) will bring your plenty of wize advices on the matter.

For all these reasons, we will never hit on your link (what reward/interest would we get in doing this??).

Just a technical recommendation 4 u: try digiscoping or just binoculars to identity birds. There are also plenty books that helps especially for english talking birder (personnaly I own about 20 books, for different parts of the world with full descrition of biotope, detailed description of species,  etc etc)

South-east Queensland, the region around Brisbane. When I lived there I managed to identify all the birds with a lowly 300mm. And a pitiful 12Mpix sensor. The OP is even less skilled as a photographer than he is as a spammer. That takes some effort.

Queensland is the second-largest state in Australia but has the greatest biodiversity, with over 630 species of bird recorded (more than closest-rivals New South Wales or West Australia with both around 550). The sum total for continental Australia (including Tasmania) is currently estimated to be 815 species.

The high avian biodiversity is probably a reflection of the wide variety of habitats, from deserts to rainforests and mangroves to mulga, which make Queensland a birders paradise.

This list is based on the 1996 classification by Sibley and Monroe (though there has been a recent (2008) extensive revision of Australian birds by Christidis and Boles [1]) which has resulted in some lumping and splitting.

Those species labelled "endemic" are endemic to mainland Australia. There are 22 species that are only found in Queensland, these are annotated with an asterisk

Merci pour le lien ! C'est absolument vrai ce que tu racontes , à tel point que la 1ère fois où j'y suis allé ( Cairns ) j'avais l'impression que les animaux au sens large regardaient les humains s'agiter dans leur zoo ! Pour les oiseaux , je suis fan du kookaburra !

Le Kookaburra présente quelques ressemblances avec le geai "commun de chez nous". Je parle de la robe, pas du bec, spécialisé pour un autre type  de nourriture. Les yeux aussi diffèrent, (et beaucoup d'autres choses !!  ), mais à première vue, les parties bleues sur les ailes m'ont évoquées notre bel oiseau européen.

Le vanneau plus haut a plein de cousins dans différentes parties du monde.

Je ne passe pas par agence ( hébergement familial ) , juste un vol sec ( Cathay Pacific ) via Hong Kong ! La difficulté est de limiter son voyage car il faut raisonner en terme de continent et non de pays ! 

Lire les interventions de 4mpx sur le forum Nikon ( Sar Nop ) . Expert animalier très talentueux , basé dans la banlieue de Sydney !

Khi đang ngồi nói chuyện vui vẻ cả gia đình thì ông Hòa có đang đi ngủ, khi ấy cả nhà vào gọi dậy để báo tin thì lay mãi ông không hề có dấu hiệu gì của sự nhận thức, nên hoảng hốt gia đình đã đưa ông tới bênh viện ngay lúc ấy để kiểm tra thì đến nơi ông đã tử vong.
