Photozone vient de publier le test du Fujinon XF 18-55 mm f/2,8-4 R LM OIS :

Les principaux enseignements sont les suivants :
- distorsion native très forte à 18 mm (-4,6% en barillet) qui s'atténue beaucoup à 23 mm, s'inverse à 35 mm et demeure raisonnable à 55 mm (0,8% en coussinet) ; corrigée par le boîtier ou par le dématriceur externe pour l'essentiel
- vignetage important à pleine ouverture, 1,65 IL à 18 mm, 1,2 IL à 35 mm et 1,35 IL à 55 mm, lui aussi ramené à des valeurs raisonnables (environ 0,4 IL à pleine ouverture) par le boîtier en jpeg (mais au prix d'une remontée du bruit, le cas échéant)
- piqué excellent au centre, très bon à excellent sur les bords et très bons dans les coins à toutes les ouvertures malgré un problème de décentrage de l'objectif testé
- aberrations chromatiques latérales bien contrôlées.

"The Fujinon XF 18-55mm f/2.8-4 R LM OIS may be the hottest reason to enter the Fuji system. It is amazingly sharp throughout the zoom and relevant aperture range. The amount of lateral CAs is generally quite low with the exception of 55mm [at] f/4. The Fujinon is not without flaws, of course. Technically it suffers from a high barrel distortion at 18mm and the vignetting is a bit too high at max. aperture. However, these aspects are taken care of either by the camera itself or external RAW converters so you don't need to worry from a user perspective. The quality of the bokeh (out-of-focus) blur is pretty good for a standard zoom lens but it cannot rival the best prime lenses, of course.
The build quality is on a very high level but then you also expect no less from a lens in this price class. It is a bit worrisome, however, that this is the 2nd out of 5 tested Fuji lenses with a rather significant centering defect. We hope that this is not a trend that we will have to confirm once more in the future. Interestingly Fuji has modified the AF mechanism in this new lens. Unlike the gang of 3 prime lenses (18mm, 35mm, 60mm) it is quite fast and basically silent so Fuji is definitely on the right track here. Fuji's new image stabilizer is, of course, also a welcome new feature. In a nutshell - you can't go wrong with the Fujinon XF 18-55mm f/2.8-4 R LM OIS ... if you can get a good sample."

Photozone n'étant pas un testeur "facile" , ce bilan très positif confirme tout le bien que je pense de ce petit zoom ...
Oui c'est très positif mais quand même 2 exemplaires sur 5 testés étaient décentrés et ça ça ne me fait pas trop rêver sur le contrôle qualité :-[

c'est une des raisons pour laquelle je n'ai pas gardé le mien.

Le mien ne me pose aucun souci (comme beaucoup d'autres).
Au visionnage de vidéos concernant le 18-55 un doute m' envahit soudain ::)
Peut-on laisser à demeure le pare-soleil sur l' objectif à l' endroit ou à l' envers tout en laissant en place le bouchon avant d' objectif ?

Bo, moi j'en ai un que j'utilise peu, je cherche à l'échanger contre un 16-50 (histoire d'avoir un zoom à tout faire pour dépanner) + roros, si jamais tu vois passer un 16-50mm et que l'échange te branches, tu me fais signe ;)
