Le Mitakon 35 mm f/2 Creator est un objectif 24x36 conçu et fabriqué par la société chinoise Shenyang Zhongyi Optical and Electronic Company (ZY Optics). Il est disponible en montures Canon EF, Nikon F, Pentax K et Sony Alpha et vendu 199 USD en Occident.

"When you compare a cheap lens produced by an inexperienced Chinese manufacturer, just making a debut on the market, to rivals produced by such companies as Canon and Nikon which are, additionally, 2-3 times more expensive, you can expect the new lens being defeated soundly in almost all category. The Mitakon 2/35 surprised us nicely because it defied such an assumption. Of course it is not a leader but there were few categories in which he came out as the last one and/or lagged behind the rivals significantly. Only its performance against bright light should be assessed in very negative way, in other categories it performed really fine. Of course the Creator doesn't have such a good resolution level in the frame centre as its competitors but on the edge of the frame it can rival successfully with them, sometimes even winning. Similar things can be said about its chromatic aberration performance (it was better than the Nikkor in correcting both types of that aberration) vignetting, (distinctly better than the bigger Canon) or astigmatism (noticeably better than the Nkkor). If you add to that a very solid, well-constructed casing, made completely of metal it is really hard to believe all of it comes with a price tag of 849 PLN.

If the Creators 2/85 and 2.8/135 represent at least a level similar to the Mitakon, tested here, their producer might stay in the market for good. It is of course a piece of good news for all of us because nothing stimulates big companies better than active and successful rivals which are trying to carve a piece of the market share."

J'ai déjà le 35 FA. Je prendrai un 35 pour mes Nikon F argentiques, F5 et F100. Soit le Sigma Art soit le Nikon AFS ouvert à 1.8. Dommage que ce 35 chinois ne soit pas plus qualitatif. Pour le prix j'aurais pu me laisser tenter. Un de ces quatre matins ils vont réussir à faire des objectifs plus qu'intéressants. Ca promet.

Les coins du 24x36 sont plutôt inutilisables avant bien fermé (beaucoup de coma entre autres, on voit sur les samples qu'il n'y a plus que de la bouillie dans les coins à PO), mais ceux du format APSC semblent assez propres.
Bon, ça semble du niveau du vieil EF 35/2 par exemple (hors coins FF), pas de quoi sauter au plafond mais correct pour le prix.
Ce serait intéressant de le comparer avec le 35/2 Yongnuo quand/si il sortira (rien vu sur ibé pour l'instant, que des 50/1.8 et des teleconverters)!
