Je répète que le très sérieux Lenstip le place comme meilleur objectif APS-C jamais commercialisé...
Ils sont effectivement très élogieux. Test sur Canon EOS 50D.
Sigma A 50-100 mm f/1.8 DC HSM - LensTip.comPoints positifs :
- unique en son genre
- solide et élégant
- excellente qualité d'image au centre
(LensTip a explosé les records enregistrés par ...des focales fixes)- très bonne résolution sur les bords
- aberration chromatique latérale légère
- pas de problème de distorsion
- excellente correction de la coma
- astigmatisme négligeable
- vignetage modéré
- zones floues agréables à regarder
- autofocus silencieux et précis.
Points négatifs :
- le comportement en contre-jour laisse beaucoup à désirer
- influence de l'aberration sphérique légèrement perceptible.

For a zoom lens as fast as f/1.8 the vignetting level of about 1.0 EV is definitely a good result. It’s worth noticing that it is not much higher than the results of different full frame “primes” cooperating with small APS-C sensors.

The next Art line Sigma is another undeniable hit. Instead of wax eloquent in the summary we just would like to say that the Sigma 50-100 mm is one of the sharpest lenses we’ve ever tested. Mind you it is a zoom lens, more difficult to correct than a classic “prime” when it comes to optical aberrations.
