On this day, August 3rd in 2007, keen photographer Brian Harold May finally handed in his astronomy PhD thesis.
Mr. May's thesis was submitted 36 years late, as he had neglected his studies in order to start a rock band with his friends Freddie, John, and Roger.
Today Doctor Sir Brian May, 79, still dabbles in music, but also runs The London Stereoscopic Company Ltd - a company dedicated to the enjoyment and advancement of 3D/stereoscopic photography.
