Au pif!!!! Je plaisante, mais la bague tourne sans butée donc pas de repère, d'où une utilisation.....
Par contre lorsque j'éteins mon X-E2 à la remise en service la dernière ouverture est conservée.

Bah celui du 14 mm f2.8 R, m'énerve aussi si je suis dans l'urgence à l'utiliser (pour la mise en place et pour le retourner pour le ranger.

Je crains de ne pas bien saisir; le bokeh est plus nerveux ou peut être plus nerveux.

le par soleil du 14mm 2.8 n'est une galère, il est très facile à manipuler.

Idem pour le pare soleil de mon 14mm, facile à mettre. En plus il va sur le 16/50,enfin le mien qui est un générique.

Commencé déjà par utiliser le XF 16-50, après tu pourras dire si mes arguments sont absurdes (à tes yeux) ou pas.

Tu pourras le répéter mille fois. Ton argument reste toujours absurde. Et tu es la seule personne au monde a avoir jamais trouvé que c'était un avantage. Grand bien te fasse.

Eh bien c'est simple, tu le remets sur 16 avant de le ranger dans le sac. Il y a assez d'autres choses à penser en matière de réglage pour ne pas s'inventer de souci supplémentaire.
Et ça marche même avec un powerzoom, mon ML a une option "rappel de la dernière position", quand je rallume le boîtier mon powerzoom UGA se remet sur la même focale qu'à l'extinction, je le remballe à 12mm, quand je le reprends il est à 12mm. Pratique.

C'était histoire de dire que les fabricants ont pensé à des solutions pour aider le photographe à mémoriser une focale non indiquée en clair sur le zoom. Si pas prévu au départ, un firmware saurait l'implémenter.

Generally, we were pleased with the Fujinon XF 16-50mm f/2.8-4.8 R LM WR during our time with it - both with respect to the lab results and especially in the field. That is with the exception of the rather massive centering defect when we first received it - which was subsequently repaired. Centering problems in Fujifilm zoom lenses seem to be a bit of a theme (...), so always check yours after purchasing. The lens may not be the sharpest knife in the kitchen, but it's still sharp for a (kit-) zoom lens. Technically, it doesn't show any major weakness throughout the zoom range. The field curvature is a bit high at the wide end, though, so stopping down is advisable if you want to have sharp corners in your scene. Just like most modern mirrorless camera zoom lenses, there's a high degree of image distortions and vignetting, so keeping auto-correction activated for JPEGs or in your favorite RAW converter is a good idea. If there is one aspect that we didn't really like about the optical characteristics, it is the bokeh. With its max aperture of f/4.8  [at]  50mm, the lens is hardly optimized for shallow depth-of-field photography to start with, but in such scenarios, the out-of-focus rendering can be rather nervous. It also doesn't like sun stars.

An aspect that sets the lens truly apart from other zoom lenses is its very compact size - including internal zooming - and very low weight. This and the extensive weather sealing make it ideal for "outdoorsy" use cases when you want to minimize your gear. Despite the low weight, it doesn't feel flimsy in any way or form. The AF motor is also plenty fast enough for a standard zoom lens. You may debate Fujifilm's decision to omit an optical image stabilizer, but then many Fujifilm cameras provide IBIS these days and for standard zoom lenses that's perfectly fine.
Overall, there's much to like here - at least when purchasing the lens as part of a camera kit. For whatever reason, Fujifilm discounts the lens heavily when purchased in a kit - equivalent to a $400 USD net price - compared to an individual price tag of a whopping $700 USD. The latter seems very steep compared to the similar-priced but faster third-party alternatives. If you are interested in the lens only, you should probably wait for a sales event.

The summary of this test is going to be short. If you want to launch a successor of an older lens it should be done like this – by presenting the Fujinon XF 16-50 mm f/2.8-4.8 R LM WR the Fujinon company set a very good example. For a price of $700 you get a universal zoom lens with excellent optical performance practically devoid of any flaws, well put together, small, and lightweight. I don't doubt that it fully deserves our Editor's Choice badge – heartfelt congratulations for the constructors of this one!
